Job Title - Project Manager
Location: Mumbai

About the Role

Network Techlab is a known System Integrator in India, with 28+ years of experience in providing end-to-end customized solutions and services. Our brand character is customized, professional, immediate, helpful and up-to-date with the latest technology developments. We are looking for a motivated Project Manager to lead and manage complex IT infrastructure, data center, virtualization, storage, backup, and network security projects. The ideal candidate will have strong customer-facing skills, hands‑on experience in system integration projects, and the ability to coordinate across internal teams, OEMs, and customers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution

• Own end‑to‑end project management for IT infrastructure and security projects from initiation to closure.
• Understand the project scope, objectives, deliverables; frame project timelines and resource requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain vigilance and control over expenditures.

Stakeholder & Customer Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct project kick‑off meetings, regular status reviews, and closure meetings.
• Manage customer expectations and handle escalations professionally, targeting the timelines for achieving each milestone.
• Coordinate with OEMs (Nutanix, Palo Alto Networks, Cohesity, Dell EMC, etc.) for design validation, licensing, and escalation support.
• Maintain alignment with internal and external stakeholders.

Technical & Delivery Coordination

• Work closely with pre‑sales, solution architects, and delivery engineers to understand solution design and implementation approach.
• Ensure project execution aligns with the approved technical architecture.
• Manage dependencies across networking, compute, storage, virtualization, security, and backup domains.
• Ensure smooth handover to operations/support teams post‑project completion.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively and escalade them in a timely manner.
• Implement mitigation plans and escalade risks when required.
• Manage change requests, impact analysis, and approvals according to change management processes.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, MOMs, and status reports.
• Provide regular project status updates to management and customers.
• Ensure project closure documentation and customer sign‑off.

Governance & Compliance

• Follow organizational project management standards and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with customer and internal governance processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies.

• Strong understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure.
• Virtualization platforms (Nutanix / VMware).
• Backup solutions (Commvault, Cohesity, etc.).
• Network & Security solutions (Palo Alto Networks, firewalls, switching).
• Ability to manage technically complex projects (hands‑on execution not required, but strong conceptual knowledge is essential).

Experience

• Proven experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and system integration projects.
• Experience working with OEMs, distributors, and multi‑vendor environments.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
