Job summary

Krea University in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh seeks a Full-Time Desktop Support technician to provide frontline hardware and software help for students and staff. You will set up desktops, troubleshoot issues, and support AV systems in classrooms.

You report to the Chief Technology Officer; 6 months to 2 years of experience and a B.Tech in EEE are desirable. The role demands proactive problem-solving and a willingness to handle diverse IT tasks.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in EEE is required.
• 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users, addressing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot various technical problems, ranging from network connectivity issues to system malfunctions.
• Set up and configure desktop hardware, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and meets organizational standards.
• Assist in the installation and updates of computer software and operating systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Offer specialized technical support for classrooms, including the maintenance and operation of AV systems.
• Document technical issues and resolutions in detail for reporting purposes and future reference.
