Job summary

Samvaad E-solutions is seeking a hands-on Installation & Service Technician to install, configure and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, IP phones, AV gear and networking equipment at client sites in Dehradun and nearby cities.

You will travel to sites, coordinate with sales teams, and maintain detailed service reports. Fresh graduates or diploma holders in IT, electronics or networking are welcome, with a passion for learning and customer-facing work.

Qualifications

• Freshers welcome; ITI, Diploma or degree in IT, electronics, electrical or networking preferred.
• Experience in CCTV, networking, IP PBX/EPABX, AV and automation systems preferred.
• Good LAN networking, IP configuration, and basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot CCTV cameras and IP surveillance systems.
• Install and test AV equipment including displays, projectors and speakers.
• Participate in on-site visits for installation, maintenance and service.
• Prepare installation and service reports and coordinate with project teams.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of IP CCTV Cameras and Surveillance Systems, IP Phones, IP PBX, EPABX systems, Wi‑Fi Access Points and Network Switches, Audio-Visual Equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones and related equipment, Access Control Machines, Gate Motors, Boom Barriers and Automation Systems.
• Perform basic networking tasks including IP addressing, LAN cabling, switch configuration and network troubleshooting.
• Visit customer sites for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and service support.
• Coordinate with project/sales teams and customers to ensure timely completion of installations.
• Maintain proper installation reports, service reports and daily field activity reports.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide effective on‑site solutions.
• Ensure proper handling, installation and testing of equipment as per company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Travel to different nearby cities and locations as required.

Preferred candidate profile

Freshers, ITI, Diploma or Graduate in IT, Electronics, Electrical, Networking or a related field will be preferred.

• Qualification and technical experience will be considered.
• Prior experience in installation/service of CCTV, networking, IP PBX/EPABX, AV equipment, Wi‑Fi, switches or automation systems will be highly preferred.
• Good practical knowledge of LAN networking, RJ45 termination, IP configuration and basic troubleshooting.
• Should be comfortable working at customer sites and performing hands‑on installation work.
• Must have a personal two‑wheeler and valid driving licence.
• Should be willing to travel nearby.
• Good communication skills and professional behaviour with customers.
• Should be hardworking, responsible, punctual and willing to learn new technologies.
