Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled IP CCTV & Network Maintenance Technician responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and support of IP CCTV surveillance systems and network infrastructure at client sites.
IP CCTV Installation & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain IP CCTV cameras, NVRs, and related equipment.
- Perform camera installation, focusing, positioning, configuration, and testing.
- Configure IP addresses, recording parameters, camera profiles, and user access.
- Troubleshoot issues related to camera connectivity, video loss, recording, playback, storage, and network communication.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including CCTV camera cleaning, health checks, and system testing.
- Handle CCTV-related RMA and replacement activities.
- Check and troubleshoot PoE-related issues, network cables, fiber links, and communication between cameras and NVRs.
- Maintain CCTV system documentation, IP address lists, device details, and service reports.
Network Installation & Maintenance
- Install and maintain network switches, routers, access points, and related networking equipment.
- Perform basic Troubleshooting access/trunk ports, PoE, and port troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot LAN connectivity, network loops, link failures, and device communication issues.
- Check copper and fiber connectivity using appropriate testing tools.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting using ping, traceroute, IP configuration, and other diagnostic commands.
Client & Site Support
- Attend client sites for breakdown calls, preventive maintenance, and installation activities.
- Communicate with clients regarding technical issues and provide appropriate updates.
- Coordinate with senior engineers for complex network and CCTV issues.
- Prepare site visit reports, service reports, preventive maintenance reports, and installation reports.
- Maintain proper records of replaced/installed equipment and materials.
- Follow site safety, security, and client procedures.
Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of IP networking fundamentals.
- Understanding of IPv4, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, TCP/IP, PoE, and basic routing/switching.
- Hands-on knowledge of IP CCTV, NVRs, PoE switches, and surveillance systems.
- Basic knowledge of fiber optic and UTP cabling.
- Ability to use basic network troubleshooting commands.
- Knowledge of CCTV VMS/NVR configuration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read basic network diagrams and CCTV layouts.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking tools.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of managed switches and VLAN configuration.
- Experience with fiber OTDR/power meter testing is an advantage.
- Networking knowledge is an advantage.
- CCTV certification or relevant technical certification is an advantage.

Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Electronics, Networking, Computer Science, Electrical, or a related technical field.
Experience
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in IP CCTV, networking, system integration, field service, or a similar technical role.
