Job summary

Soex India is seeking an IT Administrator to manage office infrastructure, including email flow, Outlook configuration, server administration (AD, DNS, Windows Server, Hyper‑V), and network security. You will monitor uptime, run backups, and manage vendor relationships.

You will also configure VPNs, troubleshoot laptops/desktops, and handle software updates and compliance. The role requires shift readiness and strict confidentiality in a dynamic Mumbai IT environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting email flow and Outlook.
• Knowledge of FortiGate Firewall, networking devices, Wi‑Fi, and VPN technologies.
• Server management including AD, DNS, Windows Server and Hyper‑V.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Should have deep knowledge of email flow and Microsoft outlook configuration and troubleshooting.
• Should have working knowledge of FortiGate Firewall, Networking devices, Aruba Wi-Fi, and VPN technologies.
• Server Management AD and DNS server Management, Windows servers, Hyper V.
• Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
• Proactively monitor product/services/site performance, uptime, availability and analyze logs/metrics.
• Should have strong knowledge of backups, retention, DR, NAS, SAN.
• Office 365 administration for apps and applying licenses.
• Should be very good in troubleshooting of Laptops and desktops.
• Should be good in helpdesk and vendor management.
• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
• Administrate infrastructure, antivirus, databases, malware/ransomware protection software and other processes.
• Review server logs and fix accordingly.
• Can manage regular Microsoft updates on windows 10,11 and server editions of OS.
• Provide technical support for hardware and software.
• Install and test computer-related equipment
• Responsible for IT inventory and compliance management
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly it infra reports.
• Proactively ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability
• Preparing and follow SOP document for all IT-related work like Laptop Formatting, Standard Software Installation, Backups, Email config, etc.
• Should have knowledge of VC softwares like Zoom / Webex / MS Team / Google meet
• Candidates with Knowledge of Domain, Hosting and DNS Management are preferred
• Candidates with knowledge of CCTV management is preferred
• Candidates with working knowledge of Email Server is preferred.

MCSE or higher / Any Reputed IT Institution Certified
