Job description

1. Role Objective

To drive digital innovation by identifying, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, business performance, and organizational growth.

The IT Executive will work closely with all business functions to understand operational challenges and recommend technology-driven solutions that improve productivity, automate business processes, strengthen decision-making, and accelerate the organization's digital transformation journey. The role focuses on continuously improving business performance through technology rather than routine IT support.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Digital Transformation & Business Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation across business functions.
• Study existing business processes and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Drive continuous business improvement through digital initiatives.
• Support implementation of the organization's digital transformation roadmap.

B. Technology Evaluation & Solution Recommendation

• Evaluate software, ERP modules, AI tools, automation platforms, cloud solutions, and business applications.
• Recommend the best-fit technology based on business requirements, scalability, security, usability, and cost.
• Prepare business cases, ROI analysis, and implementation recommendations for management approval.
• Benchmark technology solutions adopted by leading cement and manufacturing companies.

C. Project Implementation & System Integration

• Lead implementation of new IT applications and digital solutions.
• Coordinate with business users, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure smooth deployment.
• Support integration between ERP, HRMS, CRM, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, and other enterprise systems.
• Monitor implementation timelines, project milestones, and user acceptance.

D. Business Process Automation

• Identify repetitive manual activities and recommend automation solutions.
• Improve workflow efficiency through digital tools and process automation.
• Support development of dashboards, workflow approvals, and automated reporting systems.
• Promote paperless and technology-enabled business processes.

E. Technology Innovation & Emerging Trends

• Monitor latest developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, IoT, Cloud Computing, Business Intelligence, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Evaluate new technologies for business applicability.
• Recommend innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and business competitiveness.
• Share technology trends and best practices with business leadership.

F. Business Collaboration & User Adoption

• Work closely with Finance, HR, Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, and other departments.
• Understand operational challenges and recommend practical technology solutions.
• Conduct user training, awareness sessions, and knowledge-sharing workshops.
• Ensure successful adoption of newly implemented digital solutions.

G. Data Analytics & Reporting

• Develop management dashboards and business performance reports.
• Track project progress, technology adoption, and business benefits.
• Monitor system utilization and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support data-driven decision-making through business analytics.

H. Information Security & Compliance

• Ensure technology solutions comply with IT security standards and organizational policies.
• Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives across the organization.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure software compliance and licensing.
