Job summary

Putzmeister India seeks an experienced IT Business Partner to drive digital transformation across manufacturing and related functions. You will champion automation, define IT initiatives from business needs, and align local solutions with global architecture and cybersecurity standards.

You will lead cross-functional projects, manage stakeholder expectations, train users, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through change management and adoption of new digital capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related discipline.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in IT Business Partnering, digital transformation, process automation, ERP, or technology consulting.
• Experience supporting manufacturing organizations and cross-functional processes preferred.
• Proven track record in automation, digitization, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Advise business leaders on technology, digitalization, automation, and AI solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs and IT initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes via automation.

• Collaborate with Global IT to leverage existing systems and capabilities.
• Lead change management and user adoption.

Major Tasks and Duties

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on technology, digitalization, automation, and AI solutions.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and IT initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes through workflow automation and digital solutions.
• Support digital transformation initiatives across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, Sales, Finance, Quality, and HR.
• Coordinate IT projects from requirement gathering through deployment, training, and stabilization.
• Governance & Global IT Collaboration
• Ensure local solutions comply with global IT architecture, cybersecurity, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with Global IT teams to leverage existing systems, best practices, and digital capabilities.
• Change Management & User Adoption
• Champion digital culture and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Conduct stakeholder engagement, user training, and change-management activities

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology /Computer Science or related discipline.
• MBA orrelevant postgraduate qualification (preferred).
• 8-12 years of experience in IT Business Partnering, Digital Transformation, Process Automation, ERP, or Technology Consulting roles.
• Experience supporting manufacturingorganizations and cross-functionalbusiness processes (preferred)
• Proven track record in driving automation, digitization, and business process improvement initiatives.

Technical, Function and Behavioral Competencies

• Strong understanding of ERP platforms (SAP preferred).
• Experience with workflow automation, digital platforms, AI-enabled solutions, analytics, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, service, sales, finance, and corporate business processes. (preferred)
• Understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, data management, and enterprise applications.
• Strong business acumen and consultative mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Analytical problem-solving and process improvement orientation.
• Ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively.
