Job summary

Adani Group seeks an experienced IT professional to support its IT operations, governance, and infrastructure across multi-site environments. The role focuses on managing hardware, software, networks, and applications while driving cost controls and project execution.

You will work with stakeholders to implement automation, security, and enterprise-class networking solutions, ensuring high availability and adherence to ITIL-based processes.

Qualifications

• Essential BE/B.Tech in CSE/IT or MCA with 5–10 years of IT experience.
• Experience in ITIL-based service management and governance.
• Hands-on knowledge of network, data center, security, and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing annual IT department goals and objectives.
• Support IT operations including hardware, software, digital, and networking.
• Assist in governance: contracts, procurement, vendor evaluation, SLAs.
• Help prepare IT Opex/Capex budgets and cost optimization.
• Support requirement analysis and execution for new project sites.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of IT systems to support business needs.
• Provide technical support for automation, security, surveillance, and access control systems.
• Monitor incidents and service requests in Service Now; generate MIS reports.
• Manage and maintain data centers, servers, networks, video systems and access control.
• Review network and data center design for new projects; stay updated on IT trends.

Purpose/Objective

• Responsible for supporting overall IT operations, project management, stakeholder management, service integration, IT infrastructure management, IT service management, IT applications management, developing IT strategic plans, IT project management, digital projects implementation, network management, IT procurement, IT budgeting, etc

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Assist in establishing annual IT departmental goals and objectives.
• Support overall management of IT operations including hardware, software, applications, digital, and networking.
• Assist in IT governance – contract management, vendor management, IT procurement, vendor performance evaluation, SLA management, AMC/warranty management, etc.
• Help in preparing IT Opex/Capex budget, IT cost control, and cost optimization on operational expenses/budget.
• Support IT requirement analysis, planning, prioritizing, and execution for setting up new project sites.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of IT systems to support business requirements.
• Assist in the identification, design, development, and implementation of new IT applications/IT infrastructure and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
• Provide technological support in the implementation of automation, security, surveillance, and access control systems and create interfaces of these applications with other business applications.
• IT service management with Service Now tool as per ITIL framework.
• Track all incidents and service requests in the Service Now tool.
• Fetch all reports and prepare MIS from the Service Now database.
• IT asset management through CMDB database.
• Manage and maintain data centers, all servers, networks, video conference systems, video surveillance, and access control systems.
• Manage facility (IT helpdesk) management services.
• Manage user ticket escalation and take up with partner/vendor and respective teams to close in a timely manner.
• Ensure IT network security through robust firewall and proxy server administration and management systems.
• Monitor IT security compliance of end-user devices, DC devices, and network devices.
• Use Power BI reports to identify gaps and mitigate any risks.
• Implement and provide support for video surveillance and access control systems.
• Review the network, datacenter, DR, and security design of new projects (apps, infra) or changes to existing systems by internal teams or by the IT service partner(s).
• Research the latest market/technology trends for IT, OT/IOT, and information security.
• Act as a technical expert on routing and switching, datacenter networking, and security technologies.
• Implementation and operational experience with enterprise-class routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with load balancers, internet gateways, IPS/IDS, network security technologies like ACLs, VPN, L2VPN, L3VPN, IPSEC, GRE.
• Experience working with visualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-v, etc.) and virtual networks, datacenter networking like BGP-Lite, VLAN, VxLAN, FCoE, TRILL, OTV, IS-IS.
• Knowledge and experience in cloud computing infrastructure and orchestration, advanced knowledge of Cisco security policy design and implementation, strong to advanced knowledge of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.
• Success Measures - Domain: Information Technology - Key Result Area: IT infrastructure, IT security, IT facility management, IT and digital projects, automation/digitization, IT budgeting, cost control procurement, vendor management, IT applications, data center management.
• KPI / Outcome: Server availability & security, network availability & security, EUS availability & security, no of incidents, % of tickets breaching SLA, on-time completion of IT and digital projects, no of projects completed, timely adherence & within budget, IT applications availability (SAP ERP, Outlook, HCMS, KRONOS, Minex, WB applications, Oracle-based application, etc.) – 99.5%, 99.5% uptime.
