The Role
We are seeking a reliable and technically capable IT Executive to manage day-to-day IT operations across the plant and office. The role will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, systems, networks, user support, cybersecurity, and ensuring smooth operation of all technology used across the organization.
The position will report directly to the Plant Head / Management and will work closely with all departments to resolve IT issues and support the organization's digital operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day IT infrastructure, systems, computers, printers, and network equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, switches, routers, and other network infrastructure
- Provide technical support to employees and plant users
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, email, and system credentials
- Maintain CCTV, biometric attendance, access-control, and other IT-related systems
- Support and maintain ERP, production management systems, and other business applications
- Monitor data backup and ensure important company data is securely backed up
- Maintain IT hardware and software inventory and manage IT assets
- Coordinate with external IT vendors, service providers, and software companies
- Ensure antivirus, security updates, patches, and basic cybersecurity practices are maintained
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
- Maintain proper IT documentation, licenses, warranties, and service records
- Support digitalization and automation initiatives across the plant
- Ensure IT systems remain available and reliable for critical plant operations
- Provide regular updates and reports to management
Qualifications
Must Have
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant IT experience
- Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, Windows, and IT troubleshooting
- Experience with CCTV, biometric systems, printers, and office IT infrastructure
- Good understanding of data backup and basic cybersecurity
- Must be based in Dhenkanal or reside within a commutable distance of the office.
- Candidates should be able to work in the office on a full-time basis.
