Job summary

Vermilion Cosmetics is seeking a proactive IT Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and robust security.

You will provide Level 1 and 2 support, manage Active Directory and user accounts, coordinate with vendors, and oversee cloud services (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace/Azure) while keeping backups current and assets well documented.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, or B.Tech.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, Microsoft Certified, ITIL are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Experience with networking, VPN, and firewall concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and IT assets.
  • Provide Level 1 & 2 end-user support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Configure LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity.
  • Manage user accounts, email IDs, and Active Directory.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for hardware procurement and services.
  • Ensure IT security policies and cybersecurity practices.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding and manage cloud services (M365/Google Workspace/Azure).
  • Maintain IT inventory, licenses, and documentation.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations, provide end-user support, maintain network and system security, and coordinate with vendors to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, biometric devices, IP phones, and other IT assets.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and business applications.
  • Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Configure and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, VPN, and internet connectivity.
  • Create and manage user accounts, email IDs, access permissions, and Active Directory.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure regular backups, antivirus updates, and patch management.
  • Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, software licenses, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, internet services, and equipment repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and implement cybersecurity best practices.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding by configuring laptops, email accounts, software, and access rights.
  • Troubleshoot CCTV, attendance systems, conferencing tools, and meeting room equipment.
  • Maintain server health and coordinate cloud services (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace/Azure) where applicable.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
  • Hands-on experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewall).
  • Knowledge of routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with antivirus, endpoint security, backup solutions, and IT asset management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Workspace.
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware) is preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Tech, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, Microsoft Certified, ITIL, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

  • 34 years of experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, or Desktop Support Engineer.
  • Experience in a corporate office, retail, FMCG, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
