Job summary

Dave & Busters India is seeking an IT Executive to oversee daily IT operations at our Bangalore venue. You will ensure smooth functioning of IT infrastructure, systems, networking, POS, hardware, software, and technology-driven entertainment systems.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong customer-service orientation. Shift work, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of IT support/operations experience.
• Hospitality/retail/entertainment environments experience preferred.
• Graduate/Diploma in IT/CS/related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations and provide technical support to all departments.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, POS systems and other IT hardware.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers and other network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for POS, payment systems, ticketing and other business applications.
• Support arcade games, bowling systems, gaming consoles, digital displays, CCTV and other technology systems with vendors.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues and ensure minimum downtime.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, system configurations and IT assets.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation and records.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor backups, antivirus, security updates and basic IT security practices.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, standards and security procedures.
• Provide timely IT support during peak business hours, events and operational requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, preventive maintenance and service activities.
• Escalate critical technical issues to the IT Manager / corporate IT team when required.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office and basic hardware troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with POS systems and hospitality/retail technology will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in IT support / IT operations.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, entertainment, restaurants or similar high-volume environments will be preferred.
