Job summary

CS Power Systems in India is seeking an IT Specialist to oversee the operation and maintenance of the factory's IT equipment, facilities and systems. You will lead IT coordination between the group and the factory and ensure reliable technology services for manufacturing operations.

The role requires strong English communication, hands-on troubleshooting, and the ability to manage local IT assets, install systems, resolve network and hardware issues, and support projects with SOP-based daily

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Good English oral and writing skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Two years working experience in IT related role or outstanding graduates.

Responsibilities

• Oversees IT operations between group and factory to maintain IT equipment and systems.
• Provide local IT system and equipment installation and maintenance.
• Resolve hardware, printer, phone, VPN, and network issues.
• Support projects and technical aspects of weak current construction.
• Maintain meeting room equipment (Phone / Projector / Polycom / TV / Audio).
• Manage IT assets, assign ownership, and run daily system operations per SOP.
• Coordinate communication between local users and headquarters IT.
• Handle ad hoc requests and tasks from supervisor.
• Ensure local network connectivity and security access.
• Maintain telephone lines, network connections, and other weak-current systems.
• Assist with printer installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Provide security training for end users.
• Communicate with local end users and gather feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• This position needs to be responsible for the work between the group and the factory and lead help complete the operation and maintenance of the factory's IT equipment, facilities and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, network administration, cybersecurity, system integration and project management, with strong early career experience in a technology role within a manufacturing environment.
• Providing local IT system and equipment installation and maintenance service
• Resolving hardware issues, workshop printing issues, phone issue, VPN issue and network connectivity issues
• Responsible for a part of weak current project construction technical support
• Providing meeting room equipment maintenance ( Phone / Projector / Polycom video / TV / Audio system)
• IT assets and equipment management, record their ownership; Perform daily operation of IT systems according to the SOP
• Responsible for communication between local users and headquarters IT
• Work on daily ad hoc requests and other tasks & projects as assigned by supervisor
• Ensure local network connectivity and security access
• Responsible for the telephone lines, network connection and other weak current system
• Responsible for printer installation, commissioning and maintenance
