Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned procurement leader to establish best-in-class IT category procurement processes and standard terms and conditions.

You will benchmark rates, drive year-on-year cost savings, and centralize decision making to secure long-term vendor relationships across global markets.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in procurement, with at least 6 years in IT category procurement, strong vendor management, and global exposure.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive purchase and procurement experience with IT category focus.
• Proven track record building strong vendor relationships and delivering innovative procurement solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong change management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish best-in-class IT procurement processes and benchmarking.
• Create standard Terms & Conditions for IT items and ensure alignment with industry benchmarks.
• Benchmark rates/prices against market on a periodic basis.

Job Requirements

• Establishbest in class process for the procurement of IT category.
• Establish standard Terms & Conditions of procurement for various items that we procure and ensure the same is in line with industry benchmark
• Benchmark our rates/prices vs. market periodically.
• Target & achieve x% productivity/efficiency/cost savings year on year.
• EnsureTCO is less on a YOY basis despite the vendors being sole source or single source.
• Make sound buy vs lease decisions.
• Centralize decision making for better deals and build long term relationship.
• Develop vendors, improve speed & quality of items procured

Work Experience

• 8-10years of progressive purchase and procurement experience with a minimum 6 + years of experience in handling IT Category Procurement. Proven ability to build and implement innovative approaches to global procurement.
• Proven track record developing strong relationships with vendors and providing innovative solutions in procurement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong change management skills
• Open to feedback and desire to learn and improve individual performance.
• Process and project management experience is a plus.
• Global cross-cultural exposure is a MUST.
