Job summary

Live Connections in Chennai is seeking an IT Assistant Manager / Manager to lead MES, Oracle DB, and Dell server infrastructure for a manufacturing plant. You will develop internal applications using C# / .NET / Python / Java / SQL, manage storage and DR processes, and drive ERP–MES integration with PLC/SCADA interfaces while upholding ITIL standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and support MES (Manufacturing Execution System) for shop-floor operations, production tracking and machine interfacing.
• Develop and maintain internal applications, web tools and software using C# / .NET / Python / Java / SQL.
• Manage Dell PowerEdge Servers (R750/R760), iDRAC, RAID arrays, virtualization and server infrastructure.
• Administer Oracle Database 19c/21c, including ORACLE_BASE, ORACLE_HOME, tablespaces, user access and performance tuning.
• Manage Oracle ASM, NVMe/SAN storage, +DATA/+RECO disk groups and RMAN backup & disaster recovery.
• Drive integration between ERP (SAP/Oracle), MES, PLC, SCADA and IoT/IIoT devices.
• Monitor infrastructure and database performance using Dell OpenManage Enterprise (OME) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
