Job summary

Computacenter in Bengaluru (Koramangala) is hiring an IT Asset Management Analyst with 3–6 years of experience to oversee asset provisioning, manage returns, and coordinate with vendors for repairs and disposals.

You will handle quarterly pre-audits, track inventory, and ensure assets are correctly dispatched, received, and recorded, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals across India.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of IT asset management experience.
• Location: Bengaluru, Koramangala.
• Immediate notice period if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provisioning laptops and desktops for users, assigning replacements, shipping to remote users, and collecting old assets.
• Perform quarterly pre-audits and locate missing assets as required.
• Take ownership of asset collection for terminated users and coordinate with managers to recover assets.
• Create dispatch cases with HAM when stock is low to maintain inventory levels.
• Coordinate with repair vendors (Dell/Apple) and HAM for asset repairs.
• Coordinate disposals of end-of-life assets with HAM and disposal vendors.
• Monitor peripheral inventory weekly and create dispatch cases if items are running low.
• Provide Chromebook provisioning for ASEAN (ASEAN-related requests) and ship shipments as needed.

Responsibility:

Provisioning task accountability list for India

Break-fix Laptops and Desktops Provisioning

• Provisioning laptops and desktops for the users as per request, assigning the replacement assets, shipping it to the users if the user is remote and getting the old assets back from the users.

Linux New Hire / Break-fix & EOL Swap

• Linux provisioning from office for all requests

Quarterly Audit

• Perform quarterly pre-audits and locate the missing assets as required.

Asset Collection of terminated users

• Take ownership of the asset collection cases and work with the managers to get the terminated users assets back.

Asset Inventory Order with HAM if low on stock

• Creating a dispatch case with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) if the laptop/desktop inventory runs low in number to keep our inventory sufficient.

Receiving Returned Assets

• Closing the transactions of the returned assets and keeping them on the dedicated spots (e.g., EOL pile, Faulty pile, etc.)

Asset Repairs

• Working with Dell and Apple repair vendors and HAM to repair the faulty/broken laptops/desktops.

Asset Disposals

• Working with HAM and the disposal vendor to dispose of end-of-life assets.

Peripheral Inventory Order

• Checking the peripheral inventory weekly and creating dispatch cases with HAM if any peripherals are running low in number.

Chromebook Provisioning (ASEAN)

• For new hire or break-fix for Hong Kong Employees
• Loaner for traveling to HRC Countries

Create Ticket with REWS for shipment (ASEAN)

• Raise a shipment case with the REWS team for shipment of assets, both incoming and outgoing.

Shipment follow up

• Working with FedEx and New hire to make sure shipment arrives at destination. Help with custom Clearance
• Update Finance Quip doc
