Job summary

Wsne Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager at a Senior Consultant level to lead cross-functional teams and drive IT Infra initiatives across complex environments.

The role focuses on delivering data center moves, network and server upgrades, memory refresh / VDI rollout, and IT security infra while ensuring business continuity and compliance; travel to client sites five days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 9+ years of IT experience with infra project exposure.
• Understanding of servers, storage, backup and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in JIRA for project tracking.
• Strong project management, communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel to client location 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects.
• Deliver infra projects like data center setup/migration, upgrades, VDI rollout, IT security infra.
• Define and manage scope, goals, deliverables, risks, timelines and budgets.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including plans and risk logs.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
• Communicate progress, risks and milestones with stakeholders and senior management.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and result driven IT Project Manager at a Senior Consultant level with a strong background in managing IT projects. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams in delivering IT Infra initiatives across complex IT environments, ensuring business continuity and compliance with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects
• Manage end to end delivery of infra projects like data center setup/migration, network & server upgrades, end user device refresh / VDI rollout, IT security infra (firewalls, IAM, endpoint protection), network devices, IT Infra asset management etc.
• Define and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, risks, timelines and budgets
• Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, risk logs and communication plans
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
• Communicate with stakeholders and senior management on progress, risks and milestones

Key Skills required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
• 9+ years of experience in IT with some exposure in managing IT Infrastructure projects
• Understanding of infrastructure technologies servers, storage, backup and cloud platforms
• Proficiency in PM tools like JIRA
• Strong project management skills, communication, leadership and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and project management methodologies (Agile, waterfall, Hybrid)
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills
• Must be flexible & willing to travel to client location 5 days a week

Preferred Skills:

• BFSI industry exposure
