Job summary

Purview Services in Pune is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries (AS/400) developer to design, develop, maintain, and modernize applications on the IBM i platform. You will work on RPG programming, CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and batch processing, with emphasis on debugging and production support.

The ideal candidate has 6-9 years of hands-on experience with RPGLE/RPG IV and strong knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, and job queues.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the IBM iSeries / AS/400 platform.
