Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking an experienced IP / NOC Engineer to join their network operations team. In this role, you will manage advanced IP troubleshooting, support large-scale NOC operations, and ensure minimal downtime for critical services. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and IP protocols along with strong analytical skills. This is a full-time opportunity in Gurugram, Haryana.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced IP / NOC Engineer to join our network operations team. The role involves managing advanced IP troubleshooting, supporting large-scale NOC operations, and ensuring minimal downtime for critical services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and IP protocols, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive root cause analysis and long-term fixes.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end IP troubleshooting and escalation support for critical incidents in the NOC environment.
• Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of core IP protocols including BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS L2/L3 VPN, Multicast, and QoS.
• Audit the network to identify repeat issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor teams to ensure quick resolution of major incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and proactive troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Contribute to automation and digitization initiatives for more efficient service management.
