Job summary

TalentPull Infrastructure in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, is seeking a dedicated NOC IP Engineer for the BBNL project. This 24/7 role focuses on network monitoring, IP provisioning, and fault management across WAN, LAN, and OLT networks.

Qualifications

Detailed Job Description

As a NOC IP Engineer supporting the BBNL project at TalentPull Infrastructure in Meerut, you will take total ownership of round-the-clock network surveillance and incident management. Your daily responsibilities will span monitoring NMS platforms for performance alerts and network downtime, executing IP provisioning, troubleshooting routing and switching anomalies, and managing multi-vendor GPON and IP-MPLS equipment. Operating in a fast-paced 24/7 network operations center, you will coordinate closely with field teams, regional stakeholders, and upstream carriers to drive escalations through to full service restoration. Furthermore, you will support PPPoE, Wi‑Fi, VoIP, and VPN connectivity services while ensuring strict adherence to operational SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute 24/7 network monitoring and surveillance across national infrastructure utilizing advanced NMS platforms.
• Monitor, analyze, and triage network faults, performance alerts, latency spikes, and total network downtime incidents.
• Perform IP provisioning, configuration, and management tasks across WAN, LAN, and OLT network segments.
• Troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues across multi-vendor telecom and carrier-grade equipment.
• Manage multi-vendor GPON and IP-MPLS network equipment to ensure optimal throughput and packet delivery.
• Drive technical escalations through to final resolution, ensuring rapid outage mitigation and root-cause documentation.
• Support subscriber connectivity services including PPPoE authentication, enterprise Wi‑Fi, VoIP telephony, and secure VPN tunnels.
• Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional field engineering and support teams for rapid fault resolution and service restoration.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience working within a Network Operations Center (NOC) or telecom service provider environment.
• Solid technical understanding and operational experience in IP networking, routing, and switching principles.
• Hands‑on familiarity with multi‑vendor GPON, OLT, and IP-MPLS hardware architectures.
• Practical experience with Network Management Systems (NMS) and 24/7 fault monitoring protocols.
• Working knowledge of subscriber broadband services including PPPoE, VPN, VoIP, and wireless Wi‑Fi deployments.
• Strong problem‑solving aptitude, calmness under pressure, and effective shift‑based communication skills.
