Job summary

Satya Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Lucknow is seeking a Service Engineer to commission, maintain and troubleshoot solar installations for residential and commercial customers.

The role focuses on maximizing uptime, ensuring safety, and providing excellent technical support while coordinating with installation teams and customers. Travel is required; bike ownership is needed.

Qualifications

• Education: ITI/Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• Experience: 0–5 years of hands‑on experience in solar PV maintenance, troubleshooting, and field service.
• Proficiency in string testing, I-V curve tracing, inverter diagnostics, and electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections, cleaning of panels, tightening of electrical connections, and testing of SCADA/monitoring systems to prevent faults.
• Corrective Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in PV modules, inverters (string/central), AC/DC DBs, transformers, and battery storage systems.
• Commissioning Support: Assist the installation team with final testing, grid synchronization, and system commissioning to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze daily generation data, string monitoring, and performance ratios (PR) to identify underperforming assets.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to IEC, NEC, and local safety standards while working at heights or with high voltage electrical systems.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed daily/monthly service reports, site audit documentation, and maintain inventory records for spare parts.
• Customer Interaction: Address customer technical queries and train them on monitoring systems.
