We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious and result-oriented professional with 58 years of experience in International Business Development within the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) industry.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of international pharmaceutical markets, API products, customer requirements and export business development.

We are looking for an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent business development capabilities and a strong desire to expand the company's international presence.

The candidate should be proactive, commercially driven and capable of independently identifying business opportunities, developing international customer relationships and converting opportunities into sustainable business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify, develop and establish new business opportunities in international markets for API products.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with overseas pharmaceutical companies, distributors, importers and potential customers.
3. Identify new markets, customers and business opportunities for API exports.
4. Generate business leads through market research, networking, industry contacts and international pharmaceutical platforms.
5. Understand customer requirements, product specifications, pricing expectations and regulatory requirements.
6. Coordinate with internal teams for product enquiries, quotations, samples, documentation and order execution.
7. Negotiate commercial terms and close international business deals.
8. Develop and execute strategies to achieve export sales targets and business growth.
9. Monitor international market trends, competitor activities and emerging business opportunities.
10. Represent the company in international pharmaceutical exhibitions, trade fairs and customer meetings whenever required.
11. Build a strong international customer network and ensure long-term business relationships.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 58 years of relevant experience in International Business Development / Export Sales in the API or pharmaceutical industry.
• Good understanding of API products and international pharmaceutical business.
• Experience in dealing with overseas customers, distributors and pharmaceutical companies.
• Strong business development, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to independently identify potential customers and generate new business.
• Highly motivated, self-driven and target-oriented.
• Strong commercial understanding with a proactive approach to business development.
• Willingness to travel internationally as and when required.
• Must be willing to relocate to Bengaluru or nearby locations.

Educational Qualification

No specific educational qualification is mandatory.

We give greater importance to relevant industry experience, practical market knowledge, business understanding, commercial capabilities and the candidate's motivation to develop international business.

Compensation

• Fixed CTC: upto 25 Lakhs per annum.

The final compensation structure will be based on the candidate's experience, capabilities and suitability.
