Job summary

SG Oasis, based in Mumbai, seeks an experienced Internal Communications professional to lead messaging across corporate, retail and shop-floor teams. You will own the comms calendar and craft leadership messages for town halls, newsletters, and policy updates.

You’ll drive employee engagement initiatives, culture programs, CSR activities and wellness programs across locations, coordinating with HR, Operations and Marketing to ensure a consistent internal voice.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, HR, English.
• Experience in Internal/Corporate Communications across corporate/retail and manufacturing environments.
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
• Experience managing employee engagement and culture initiatives end-to-end.
• Experience managing multiple channels: email, newsletters, WhatsApp broadcasts, notice boards, and intranet.
• Ability to create communication for multilingual, shop-floor audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management with HR, Leadership, Operations, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Drive internal comms calendar: leadership messages, town halls, newsletters, digital campaigns, festival/company announcements across functions.
• Partner with CEO & office and HR leadership to craft and cascade key messaging (org changes, policy updates, business updates).
• Own employee engagement content EVP storytelling, recognition programs, culture initiatives, including HR forums, CSR, cultural events, and wellness programs across multiple locations.
• Manage comms channels (email, WhatsApp broadcasts, notice boards, intranet if any), with reach into central kitchen shop-floor staff and outlet/field teams not just HO.
• Design comms for central kitchen onboarding, shift communication, and safety/process updates translated for shop-floor audiences.
• Draft leadership speeches, talking points, and Q&A prep for town halls/events, including CK-specific forums.
• Track and report on comms effectiveness across HO, outlets, and CKs (readership, engagement,sentiment).
• Coordinate with Ops/Manufacturing leadership at CKs to ensure comms reflect shop-floor realities (shift patterns, language needs, low-digital-access workers).
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing/Brand to keep internal and external voice consistent.

Education & Experience

• Graduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, English, or a related discipline.
• 47 years of experience in Internal Communications or Corporate Communications, preferably spanning both corporate/retail and manufacturing or plant-floor environments.
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills with the ability to simplify leadership messaging for a diverse, distributed workforce.
• Experience managing employee engagement, culture, or internal communication initiatives end-to-end.
• Experience managing multiple communication channels such as email, newsletters, WhatsApp broadcasts, notice boards, and intranet platforms.
• Ability to create communication suitable for multilingual and shop-floor audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Leadership, Operations, and Marketing teams.
