Job summary

Kothari Associates Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi, India, seeks a full-time Interior Architect to develop concepts, layouts and detailed designs for interiors, aligning aesthetics with functional requirements and architectural constraints.

You will conduct space planning, prepare drawings and specs, coordinate fit-outs with architects, contractors and vendors, participate in site visits, client meetings, and create presentations to support approvals and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong space planning and interior design skills to create cohesive concepts.
• Ability to integrate interior solutions with building design and technical requirements.
• Experience in interior fit-out detailing, materials selection, and coordination with site teams and contractors.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with visualization tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Attention to detail and understanding of building codes and standards.
• Prior experience in commercial, residential, or institutional interior projects is an advantage.
• Minimum exp. of 5 to & yrs.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Architect role based in Delhi, India. The Interior Architect will develop concepts, layouts, and detailed designs for interior spaces, aligning aesthetics with functional requirements and architectural constraints. Daily responsibilities include space planning, preparing drawings and specifications, coordinating interior fit-out elements, and collaborating with architects, interior designers, contractors, and vendors. The role involves site visits to review progress, resolve design issues, and ensure execution meets design intent, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. The Interior Architect will also participate in client meetings, prepare presentations, and support documentation for approvals and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create efficient, user-focused layouts and cohesive design concepts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Interior Architecture to integrate interior solutions with overall building design and technical requirements.
• Candidates should possess experience in Interior Fit-out, including detailing, materials selection, and coordination with site teams and contractors.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with visualization tools is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
