Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and create detailed layouts and 3D visualizations for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with clients to understand requirements, preparing construction drawings, coordinating with architects and contractors, and selecting finishes, fixtures, and furnishings (FF&E). The role involves site visits for measurements and supervision, ensuring that designs are executed as planned, on schedule, and within budget. The Interior Designer will also assist with project documentation, vendor coordination, and maintaining design standards aligned with Neat Works' brand and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design skills, including concept development and practical application of Interior Design principles.
• Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize functionality, flow, and aesthetics for different types of spaces.
• Understanding of Architecture and building systems to coordinate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Ability to create accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution on site.
• Experience with FF&E selection, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories, aligned with project budgets and timelines.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools), and basic presentation tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients, vendors, and site teams.
• Detail-oriented approach, good time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in Ahmedabad or similar markets is an advantage.
