The Interior Design Sales professional will collaborate with clients to understand their lifestyle, functional needs, and aesthetic preferences, and translate these into tailored design and furniture solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations and showroom walk-throughs, preparing design proposals and space plans, presenting product options, and managing inquiries from initial contact through closing the sale. The role involves coordinating with designers, procurement, and installation teams to ensure accurate orders, timely deliveries, and high-quality project execution. The Interior Design Sales professional will also maintain product knowledge, track sales activities in CRM tools, and support promotional events and visual merchandising to drive revenue and enhance client experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and client relationship skills, including the ability to listen, advise, and manage expectations.
• Proficiency in interior design principles and space planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts.
• Proven sales skills, including consultative selling, upselling, and closing, ideally within interior design, furniture, or related industries.
• Knowledge of furniture types, materials, finishes, and brands, with the ability to recommend appropriate products for varied budgets and styles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort working with measurements, floor plans, and project timelines.
• Ability to work on-site in Noida, including weekends or extended hours as needed in a retail or showroom environment.
• Basic proficiency with design tools or software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and office applications (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in interior design, furniture retail, or home décor sales is preferred; relevant certification or degree in Interior Design or a related field is beneficial.
