Role Description

The Insurance Sales Agent will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, explaining insurance products, and recommending suitable coverage options across life, health, and general insurance lines. Daily activities include meeting clients on-site, conducting needs assessments, preparing quotes, managing policy applications, and following up on renewals and claims-related queries. The role involves close collaboration with internal advisory teams and external insurance partners to ensure accurate product information and high-quality client service. The Insurance Sales Agent will also maintain sales records, work toward defined performance targets, and participate in training to stay current on products, regulations, and market trends. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India.

Qualifications

• Strong Insurance Sales skills, including prospecting, lead conversion, and negotiation.
• Knowledge of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage processes, with the ability to compare and position multiple offerings.
• Proven Sales capabilities, including pipeline management, target achievement, and reporting.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle queries, and resolve issues professionally.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages as relevant.
• Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, and meet clients in person on a regular basis.
• Prior experience in insurance or financial services sales is preferred; familiarity with regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent professional experience.
• Comfort with basic computer applications and CRM tools to manage client information and sales activities.
