Job summary

Atharv Consultants seeks an instrumentation specialist to perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of field instruments including DCS and PLC systems. The role covers flow meters, RTDs, pressure switches, sensors, actuator valves, load cells and weighing systems in a continuous process environment.

The candidate will execute preventive, predictive, shutdown and breakdown maintenance activities to sustain plant performance and safety.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of instrumentation experience in a continuous process industry, preferably chemical manufacturing.
• Perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of field instruments including DCS & PLC systems.
• Maintain flow meters, RTDs, pressure switches, sensors, actuator valves, load cells and weighing systems.
• Execute preventive, predictive, shutdown and breakdown maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain field instruments across DCS/PLC systems.
• Monitor and service flow meters, RTDs, pressure switches, sensors and weighing devices.
• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
