Job summary

Atharv Consultants in Hyderabad is seeking an instrumentation technician to install, calibrate and troubleshoot field instruments in a continuous process environment. You will work with DCS/PLC systems, flow meters, RTDs, and related sensors, ensuring accurate operation and data integrity.

Responsibilities include preventive and breakdown maintenance, calibration checks, and coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime in a chemical manufacturing setup.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of instrumentation experience in a continuous process industry (preferably chemical manufacturing).
• Install, calibrate and troubleshoot field instruments including DCS and PLC systems.
• Execute preventive, predictive, shutdown and breakdown maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and troubleshoot field instruments such as flow meters, RTDs, pressure switches, sensors.
• Maintain actuator valves, load cells, weighing systems, data recorders, pneumatic systems, and control panels.
• Perform preventive, predictive, shutdown and breakdown maintenance.
