Job summary

Kaisha Pharma Pvt Ltd in India is hiring a Calibration Engineer responsible for calibration of plant instrumentation and ensuring compliance with ISO17025.

You will develop SOPs, manage calibration plans, mentor team members, and work with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems to maintain accurate process measurements. This on-site role requires hands-on instrumentation and strict GMP/cGMP adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience in calibration of industrial instrumentation.
• ISO17025:2018 awareness or requirement is beneficial.
• Hands-on with PLC/SCADA systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow good engineering practices in project work.
• Knowledge of plant safety & cGMP required.
• Troubleshooting & calibration related skills.
• Calibrate instruments: pressure gauges and transmitters, temperature sensors/transmitters, level sensors/transmitters, and flow meters.
• Prepare and execute calibration activities (SOPs, Calibration Planner).
• Develop and maintain instrumentation and control system documentation and SOPs.
• Supervise day-to-day calibration operations to ensure adherence to protocols, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of calibration results by monitoring methodologies and equipment.
• Adhere to ISO17025:2018 standards in all calibration processes.
• Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities to team members.
• Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA etc.
• Hands-on experience of detailed engineering of field instrumentation.
• Follow safety standards, use PPEs, and follow work permits as per safety SOPs.

Role & responsibilities

4. 4. Perform accurate calibrations of instruments like Pressure gauge, Pressure transmitter, Pressure Switch, Temperature sensor (RTD & Thermocouple), Temperature transmitter, Level sensor, Level transmitter, Flow meter but not limited to.
5. 5. Responsible for preparation and execution of calibration related activities (SOPs, Calibration Planner)
6. 6. To Develop and maintain Instrumentation and control system documentation and SOPs.
7. 7. To Supervise day to day calibration operations to ensure adherence to protocols, Standards, and procedures.
8. 8. Ensure the accuracy and precision of calibration results by closely monitoring calibration methodologies and equipment.
9. 9. Ensure compliance with ISO17025:2018 standards and guidelines in all calibration processes.
