Job summary

Priserve Infrastructure seeks a senior instrumentation lead to oversee all instrumentation engineering activities on the project. You will review specifications, drawings, and control philosophy while coordinating with pursuit of system architecture and integration with DCS/PLC vendors.

The role requires leadership in installation, testing, calibration, loop checks, and commissioning, plus mentoring of engineers and technicians. Compliance with IEC/ISA/API/NFPA standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all instrumentation engineering activities for the project.
• Review and approve instrumentation engineering deliverables, specifications, and drawings.
• Develop and review Instrument Index, I/O List, Datasheets, Instrument Specifications, Cable Schedule, JB Schedule, Hook-up Drawings, and Loop Diagrams.
• Review P&IDs and ensure proper instrumentation and control philosophy.
• Coordinate with Process, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Piping, DCS/PLC and other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical inputs for selection and sizing of instruments such as flow, pressure, temperature, level, analytical and control instruments.
• Review vendor documents, technical offers, drawings and data sheets.
• Support procurement and vendor evaluation from the instrumentation perspective.
• Coordinate with DCS/PLC vendors for system architecture, I/O requirements, logic, graphics and integration.
• Supervise instrumentation installation, testing, calibration, loop checking and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control-system issues during commissioning and plant operation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC, ISA, API, NFPA and project-specific standards.
• Ensure adherence to project quality, safety, schedule and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and site teams.
• Guide and mentor instrumentation engineers and technicians.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates and engineering documentation.
