Job summary

Agp International Services in Chennai invites a qualified Instrumentation Technician to join our team. The role focuses on installation, calibration and preventive maintenance of industrial instruments, and on troubleshooting pressure, temperature, level and flow transmitters.

Candidates should have ITI Diploma in Electrical Instrument Engineering and 5–10 years of Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical or heavy industry exposure, with knowledge of P&ID, loop diagrams, and hazardous area equipment

Qualifications

  • ITI Diploma in Electrical Instrument Engineering is required.
  • 5-10 years in Oil & Gas, Refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industry.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas Sector.
  • Hazardous area equipment (ATEX IECEx) preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, calibration, and maintenance of industrial instruments.
  • Troubleshooting of pressure, temperature, level & flow transmitters.
  • Experience in PLC DCS systems and control panels.
  • Ability to read P&ID , loop , Isometric diagrams.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas Petrochemical Power Plant preferred.
  • Knowledge of instrument calibration and preventive maintenance.
