Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech/D.M.E-Mechanical from a reputed college with full-time study.
• ASNT Level II in UT/PT/RT/MT/VT and CSWIP/AWS-CWI certifications are preferred.
• Experience in fabrication, erection and inspection of steel structures.
• Knowledge of welding procedures and angular/weld defect inspection procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; willingness to travel PAN India.

Responsibilities

• Review of fabrication, erection & shop drawings as per project specs.
• Prepare/review QAP/ITP based on tender specifications.
• Stage-wise inspection per approved QAP/ITP; witness tests and calibrations.
• Inspect welding, perform dimensional checks and verify NDT coordination.
• Review surface preparation, painting procedures and coatings inspection.
• Witness torqueing of bolts, and release inspection notes.
• Attend site review meetings and ensure compliance with standards.
