Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Quality – MEP & Structural Steel – Site professional to support quality checks, documentation, and inspection-related tasks at the Hyderabad site. You will assist in ensuring conformance to drawings and client requirements through routine inspections and test coordination.

You will coordinate with labs and third-party agencies for NDT, pressure tests, megger tests, and ensure proper material handling, storage, and certification, contributing to safe and compliant

Responsibilities

• Check welding quality, bolt tightening, and structural steel erection per drawings and codes.
• Inspect incoming MEP and steel materials, ensuring proper storage, tagging, and certification.
• Fill checklists and document inspection observations under QA/QC guidance for stage-wise milestones.

Job Description

Quality – MEP & Structural Steel – Site is responsible for assisting in quality checks, documentation, and inspection-related tasks associated with MEP systems and structural steel works. This role supports engineers in ensuring conformance to drawings, specifications, and client requirements through routine inspection, reporting, and test coordination at the site.

• Assist QA/QC engineers in conducting inspections for electrical conduit works, cable tray installation, plumbing and piping layouts, HVAC ductwork, and fire-fighting installations to ensure alignment with approved shop drawings and quality standards.
• Support in checking welding quality, bolt tightening, and structural steel erection, including verifying alignment, orientation, painting, and galvanizing compliance as per drawings and codes.
• Participate in inspection of incoming MEP and steel materials, such as pipes, cables, motors, panels, valves, steel sections, and fasteners, ensuring proper storage, tagging, and certification.
• Help coordinate with labs and third-party agencies for conducting NDT, pressure tests, megger tests, and functional performance checks of MEP systems and steel connections.

Document inspection observations and fill checklists, under the guidance of QA/QC engineers, for stage-wise work such as pipe leak testing, duct insulation, or steel welding progress.
