Job summary

KANNANWARE INNOVATIONS LLP is seeking an experienced inspector to oversee quality of fabricated and machined components at supplier premises. The role involves applying control plans, welding inspection, and coordinating NDT checks.

The candidate should have 5–10 years in a fabrication environment, ISO9001 internal audit exposure, and strong communication skills. English proficiency is essential for reporting and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in fabrication shop is expected.
• Experience with ASME/ISO welder qualification.
• Internal auditor ISO9001 experience.
• Good communication skills and data presentation ability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabricated and machined components at supplier premises.
• Prepare and maintain control formats for supply components.
• Use instruments per control plans.
• Supplier quality control and clearance of components for further process.
• Welding inspection and calibration.
• Arrange NDT checks for castings and other components.
• Prepare control charts and raise NCs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement mitigations.

Usage of instruments as per control plans.

Supplier quality control andClearingsupply componentsfor further process .

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities

• Welding inspection
• Arranging NDT check for castings and other components.
• Liaison with Third party agencies in arranging TPI inhouse and at supplier premises.
• Calibration.
• Preparation of control charts.
• Raising NCs and conducting root cause analysis.
• Implementation of mitigation actions.

Key Position Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Engineering, Mecha n ical

Job Experience

• 5 to 10 years in fabrication shop .
• Experience in welder’s qualification as per ASME/ISO standards.
• Internal auditor ISO9001
• Good communication skill .
• Data analysis and presentations.
• 2 years in a machine shop
• Good in communicative English.
• Ability to prepare and present power point presentations.
• Level II certificates in NDT such as UT, MPT and PT
• Self-starter & strongly self-disciplined
