Job summary

NEXUS CONSULTING SOLUTIONS in Bangalore is seeking a motivated Career Counsellor and Inside Sales Representative to guide students and professionals through online UG/PG programmes and help them choose the right course based on their career goals.

The role requires strong communication, a sales mindset, and fluency in Hindi, English, and Kannada. You will make outbound calls, follow up leads, manage CRM records, and work from the Bangalore office six days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of inside sales or educational counselling experience.
• Fluency in Hindi, English, and Kannada.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with six-day work week and target-driven environment.
• Basic computer skills and CRM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students and working professionals regarding online UG and PG degree programmes.
• Understand candidates' educational backgrounds, career aspirations, and learning requirements.
• Make outbound calls to prospective students and follow up on leads.
• Explain course details, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fees, and programme benefits.
• Convert leads into admissions and maintain CRM records.
• Achieve counselling and sales targets.

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and result-orientated career counsellor – inside sales representative – to join our team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and working professionals regarding online undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degree programmes and helping them choose the right course based on their career goals.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and convincing skills, a sales-orientated mindset, and fluency in Hindi, English, and Kannada.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and working professionals regarding online UG and PG degree programmes.
• Understand candidates' educational backgrounds, career aspirations, and learning requirements.
• Make outbound calls to prospective students and follow up on leads generated by the company.
• Explain course details, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fees, and programme benefits.
• Convert prospective leads into admissions by providing appropriate guidance and counselling.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with interested candidates and ensure timely conversions.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly counselling and sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM system.
• Build positive relationships with students and provide a smooth admission experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in inside sales, educational counselling, telecalling, or a similar role.
• Fluency in Hindi, English, and Kannada is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
• Strong interest in sales, counselling, and student engagement.
• Ability to handle objections, follow up with leads, and achieve sales targets.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM tools.
• Candidates from the education, edtech, online learning, or admission counselling industry will be preferred.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be available to join immediately.
• Must be comfortable working from the Bangalore office.
• Must be comfortable working six days a week, Monday to Saturday.
• Must be comfortable with a target-driven inside sales role.
