About the Role
Join Prep IQ as a Business Development Associate (BDA) and become part of our Sales team. You will connect with students, understand their exam-preparation needs, recommend relevant Prep IQ products, and contribute to business growth.
Job Description
We are looking for energetic and target-oriented Business Development Associates who can engage with students through calls and other communication channels, build strong relationships, handle objections, and convert qualified leads into customers.
What You'll Do
- Call and engage with prospective students
- Understand their preparation goals
- Recommend relevant Prep IQ products
- Follow up with interested leads
- Handle objections and answer product queries
- Convert qualified leads into customers
- Update daily activities in the CRM
- Work toward individual and team targets
- Participate in sales training and team meetings
- Contribute ideas to improve the sales process
Responsibilities
- Contact and follow up with prospective students
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable products
- Explain Prep IQ test series, courses, and other offerings
- Generate sales through inbound and outbound leads
- Follow the defined sales process and calling guidelines
- Handle customer queries and sales objections professionally
- Maintain regular follow-ups with interested leads
- Update lead information and activities in the CRM
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Coordinate with the team to improve lead conversion
Key Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, telecalling, or business development
- Freshers with strong communication skills can apply
- Comfortable making outbound calls
- Target-oriented and self-motivated
- Good communication and convincing ability
- Comfortable working from the office
- Willingness to learn and grow in sales
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in EdTech, education, or inside sales
- Experience handling student/customer leads
