Job summary

Rotork is seeking a quotation specialist in Pune to prepare accurate quotations for electric and pneumatic actuators and related accessories. You will handle urgent requests, provide technical support, and ensure compliant, competitive bids for internal teams and external customers.

The role requires a BE/B.Tech in relevant disciplines, 2–4 years of quotation or inside sales experience, strong Excel skills, and fluent English. Hindi is a plus.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in EEE, E&I, Mechanical, Chemical or Instrumentation.
• 2-4 years’ experience in quotation preparation, sales support, inside sales or customer support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Fluent in English; Hindi advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Understand RFQs and prepare accurate quotations for electric and pneumatic actuators with control panel accessories and spares.
• Prioritize and handle urgent or quick quotation requests with minimal turnaround time.
• Provide technical support and address queries related to actuator selection, configuration and applications.
• Review customer requirements to ensure correct sizing, compatibility and compliance of solutions.
• Coordinate with contracts, engineering and service teams for technical clarifications and order execution support.
• Respond promptly to customer communications (emails and calls) with a proactive approach.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure error-free, competitive quotations.
• Drive customer satisfaction by delivering reliable technical support and timely commercial responses.

Job Description

Qualifications

• BE/B. Tech candidates (EEE/E&I/Mechanical/Chemical/Instrumentation).
• 2 - 4years’ experience in quotation preparation/sales support/inside sales/any other customer support
• Must be familiar with Microsoft excel and Outlook.
• Must be able to communicate in English fluently. Hindi is an advantage.
• Preferable if the candidate has handled valve/actuator/instruments/controls systems/GEM portal tenders/any other electrical and Pneumatic products.
