Job summary

Kukreja Auto Components Sonipat is seeking an experienced plant operations leader to drive overall manufacturing performance in the plastics sector. The role focuses on production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and administration, with emphasis on cost control and safety adherence.

The candidate will develop strategic plans, manage resources, and oversee automation and project implementation while ensuring targets are met and defects are minimized.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Deep knowledge of Injection Molding processes and IML Robotics.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in high-speed manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, maintenance, quality, logistics, dispatch, and administration.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve targets, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Plan and manage resources for smooth plant functioning.
• Monitor KPIs related to output, quality, cost, and safety.
• Ensure ISO, EHS, and statutory compliance.
• Liaise with senior management for strategic planning and capacity expansion.
• Oversee new project implementation, machine installation, and process automation.
• Ensure shift handover, achieve daily/monthly targets, minimize scrap and wastage, and ensure zero customer rejections.

Role & responsibilities

1. Strong knowledge of Injection Molding, IML Robotics, and utility and auxiliary systems used in the plastics industry.
2. Proven experience in Automotive Lighting manufacturing using injection molding processes.
3. Oversee overall plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and dispatch and administration.
4. Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve production targets, efficiency, and cost optimization.
5. Plan and manage resources (manpower, machinery, and materials) for smooth plant functioning.
   Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to output, quality, cost, and safety.
   Ensure compliance with ISO, EHS, and statutory requirements.
6. Liaise with senior management for strategic planning and capacity expansion.
7. Oversee new project implementation, machine installation, and process automation.
8. Ensure proper shift handover and communication, Achieve daily and monthly production targets, Reduce scrap percentage and wastage, Maintain product quality and zero customer rejections.
