Job summary

BVR People Consulting is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for plastic injection moulding machines. You will perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, diagnose faults across electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and coordinate with production and tool room teams to minimize downtime.

Candidates should be familiar with Nissei, JSW, Sumitomo and FANUC equipment, and able to handle MTCs, dryers, granulators, and hot runner controllers. Basic PLC troubleshooting is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding machines.
• Hands-on fault diagnosis across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with mould temperature controllers (MTC), dryers, granulators and hot runner controllers.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
• Maintain electrical injection moulding machines such as Nissei, JSW, Sumitomo and FANUC.
• Diagnose machine alarms, servo motor, drive, sensor and control system faults.
• Maintain mould temperature controllers (MTC), dryers, granulators, hot runner controllers and material conveying systems.
• Identify root causes of machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Process Engineering and Tool Room teams to resolve machine-related issues.
• Monitor machine downtime and improve equipment availability and reliability.
• Maintain maintenance checklists, breakdown reports and preventive maintenance records.
• Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting and electrical fault diagnosis.
• Maintain motors, sensors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Handle utility maintenance Chillers, Air Compressors, Pumps and Cooling Towers.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and smooth production operations..
