Job summary

Pragati Polymers in India seeks an Injection Blow Moulding Operator to operate and monitor IBM machines, set temperatures, pressures, cycle times, and cooling as per production requirements.

You will load raw materials, ensure proper material flow, monitor quality, identify defects, and perform start-up/shutdown/changeovers while maintaining records and safety SOPs. Rotation shifts and target achievement are required.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/10th/12th pass in a relevant field.
• 13 years of experience in Injection Blow Moulding or Plastic Moulding operations.
• Knowledge of plastic raw materials and moulding processes.
• Ability to identify and rectify basic moulding defects.
• Basic understanding of machine parameters and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Injection Blow Moulding machines as per production requirements.
• Set and monitor machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, cycle time, and cooling.
• Load raw materials and ensure proper material flow during production.
• Monitor moulding quality and identify defects such as flash, short moulding, leakage, bubbles, black spots, and deformation.
• Perform basic machine start-up, shutdown, and changeover activities.
• Ensure moulds and machine components are clean and properly maintained.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting for machine and process-related issues and report major breakdowns to the Maintenance team.
• Maintain production output as per the daily production plan and minimize rejection and material wastage.
• Conduct visual inspection and ensure products meet specified quality standards.
• Maintain production, rejection, and machine parameter records.
• Follow 5S, PPE, safety procedures, and company SOPs.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams for smooth operations.
