Job summary

Morningstar is hiring for a DevOps/SRE role focused on cloud infrastructure in India. The candidate will design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS environments, implement IaC, and automate deployments across large production systems.

The position requires 3–4 years of hands-on experience, strong AWS skills, and proficiency in CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring tools. Hybrid work setup with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Experience designing, maintaining, and administering production environments for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Administration using AWS Console and AWS CLI.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: EC2 S3 IAM Route 53 ElasticSearch/OpenSearch ElastiCache DynamoDB Aurora Kinesis Lambda.
• Experience deploying with AWS CloudFormation Terraform Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible Chef Puppet.
• Good understanding of Git and source code repository management.
• Hands-on experience with at least one CI/CD platform such as Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Strong scripting with Bash and/or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience configuring monitoring/alerting with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to ensure efficient software delivery.
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Manage source code repositories and version control workflows using Git.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application issues.
