Job summary

Morningstar seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain AWS-based systems that are highly available, scalable, and secure. You will drive IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible, and run production environments for large-scale applications.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines with AWS DevOps and Jenkins, automate provisioning, and manage Kubernetes/EKS clusters in production. Collaboration with Dev, QA, and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong experience in designing, maintaining, and administering production environments for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Administration using AWS Console and AWS CLI.
• Good knowledge of AWS services, including: EC2 S3 IAM Route 53 ElasticSearch/OpenSearch ElastiCache DynamoDB Aurora Kinesis Lambda.
• Experience implementing complex deployments using: AWS CloudFormation Terraform Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Automation tools such as: Ansible Chef Puppet.
• Good understanding of Git and source code repository management.
• Hands-on experience with at least one CI/CD platform such as Jenkins.
• Experience working with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Strong scripting skills using Bash and/or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience configuring monitoring and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
