Job summary

Cloud Angles Digital Transformation is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with around 5 years of hands-on cloud engineering, focusing on designing, deploying, securing, and maintaining scalable AWS environments for enterprise apps, AI workloads, APIs, and databases.

You will implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, build CI/CD pipelines, manage Docker containers, and optimize costs while ensuring security and reliability across production systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Linux administration skills.
• Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPNs).
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Terraform or IaC tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• Cloud security and IAM knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on AWS.

• Design and manage VPCs, subnets, security groups, routing, load balancers, and connectivity.

• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Monitor performance, availability, security, and cost.
• Implement backup, DR, and business continuity measures.
• Troubleshoot production infrastructure and applications.
• Implement cloud security best practices and IAM policies.
• Support AI/ML and GenAI workloads deployment and scaling.
• Optimize costs and resource utilization; maintain infra diagrams.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with approximately 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for building reliable and scalable AWS environments supporting enterprise applications, AI workloads, APIs, databases, and production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on AWS.
• Build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.
• Manage AWS services including compute, networking, storage, databases, IAM, monitoring, and security.
• Design and manage VPCs, subnets, security groups, routing, load balancers, and network connectivity.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and preferably Kubernetes/EKS.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, security, and cost.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot production infrastructure and application issues.
• Implement cloud security best practices and IAM policies.
• Support deployment and scaling of AI/ML and GenAI workloads.
• Optimize AWS infrastructure costs and resource utilization.
• Maintain technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda, ELB/ALB, Route 53, and related AWS services.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure-as-Code tool.Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud security and access management.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps certification.
• Kubernetes/EKS experience.
• Experience managing AI/ML infrastructure.
• Experience with GPU workloads.
• Experience with observability tools.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
