Job summary

Viraaj HR Solutions Private Limited is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to design and automate cloud infrastructure, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, and optimize performance and security across client projects. You will work with Terraform/CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS services within dynamic, fast-scaling teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Hands-on IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring and cost-optimization in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• Monitor and optimize costs, performance, and security with CloudWatch and dashboards.
• Manage container workloads on ECS/EKS with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Collaborate with security to harden infrastructure and enforce GitOps practices.
• Own on-call rotations and participate in post-mortems to improve reliability.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline to accelerate deployment velocity and reduce manual intervention.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs, performance, and security posture using AWS CloudWatch, Trusted Advisor, and custom dashboards.
• Configure and manage containerized workloads on ECS/EKS with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes operators.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to harden infrastructure, enforce compliance, and implement GitOps practices.
• Own on-call rotation for production environments, triage incidents, and drive post-mortems to eliminate systemic failures.
