Job summary

Taxoz India is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage desktops, servers, networks, and security across our offices. You will oversee Microsoft 365 suite, AD/Entra ID, VPN/RDP, and endpoint protection, ensuring uptime and compliance.

The role covers asset lifecycle, budgeting, vendor coordination (including Australian clients), backups, DR, and IT policies. Strong hands-on hardware and networking knowledge, plus problem solving and communication skills, are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration or IT support.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of hardware, networking, Windows, Microsoft 365, VPN/RDP, routers, switches, firewalls and endpoint security.
• Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID, user access and security administration.
• Experience in IT asset management, backup/recovery, business continuity and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, servers, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches and firewalls.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory/Entra ID and user access.
• Manage network and endpoint security, MFA/2FA, VPN, RDP, patching and access controls.
• Oversee CCTV, biometric systems and related office IT infrastructure.
• Manage IT assets across their lifecycle, including procurement, allocation, maintenance, upgrades, replacement and secure disposal.
• Support IT budgeting, infrastructure planning, licences, warranties and vendor management.
• Maintain and periodically test backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Own and implement IT policies, SOPs, security controls and related documentation.
• Manage employee onboarding/offboarding from an IT and system‑access perspective.
• Coordinate with Australian clients, their IT teams, ISPs and external vendors when required.
• Identify opportunities for technology improvements, standardisation and practical workflow automation.
• Guide the IT Support team and ensure timely resolution and appropriate escalation of IT issues.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, system administration or IT support.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of hardware, networking, Windows, Microsoft 365, VPN/RDP, routers, switches, firewalls and endpoint security.
• Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID, user access and security administration.
• Experience in IT asset management, backup/recovery, business continuity and vendor management.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, ownership and communication skills.
• Experience supporting multiple offices, remote teams or client environments would be an advantage.
• Experience in KPO, BPO, accounting, financial services or professional services would be preferred.
• Relevant Microsoft, networking, IT service management or cybersecurity certifications would be beneficial.
