Job summary

California Burrito is seeking a Manager - IT Infrastructure to lead store IT operations across Bengaluru and other locations. You will ensure maximum uptime, seamless POS performance, and scalable IT setups for a growing store footprint.

The role requires hands-on IT expertise in POS systems, network hardware, and strong vendor management. You will drive initiatives with Operations and Projects teams to enable rapid store readiness and ongoing support.

• Partner with Operations and Projects teams to design and launch IT infrastructure for new store openings.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and ensure swift replacements to minimize downtime.
• Mentor and train store personnel on basic IT troubleshooting and support protocols.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced, and resourceful Manager - IT Infrastructure (Retail & Store Operations) to lead and oversee our store IT infrastructure and technology services across all operating locations. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of store IT operations—ensuring maximum uptime, seamless POS and network performance, robust vendor management, and scalable IT setups for our expanding store footprint.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven track record in IT infrastructure and services management (experience handling multi-unit QSR, retail, or hospitality store networks is strongly preferred).
• Deep hands-on and managerial understanding of POS systems, billing hardware, thermal printers, and store network infrastructure (LAN, Wi-Fi routers, SIM-based systems).

WHAT WILL YOU OWN?

• Store IT Infrastructure & Support: Oversee installation, configuration, and operational uptime of POS billing systems, hardware peripherals, printers, SIM landlines, and internet connectivity across all store locations.
• Escalation & Issue Resolution: Manage hardware/software troubleshooting workflows, maintain issue logging standards, and ensure rapid resolution for store-level technical disruptions during operational hours.
• Vendor & Telecom Management: Lead relationships and coordinate service delivery with third-party IT vendors, ISPs, POS software providers, and telecom partners.
• Expansion & Store Readiness: Partner with Operations and Projects teams to design, set up, and launch IT infrastructure for new store openings.
• Maintenance & Continuity: Establish preventive maintenance schedules, manage backup hardware inventory, and ensure swift replacement protocols to minimize store downtime.
• Team Leadership & Training: Drive IT support protocols, mentor team members, and implement basic IT troubleshooting training for store personnel.
