Job summary

California Burrito is expanding its footprint across India and is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to scout premium retail locations in Hyderabad and beyond. You will identify high-potential sites, negotiate terms with owners and brokers, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure site feasibility.

This role offers high autonomy, exposure to fast-growing real estate expansion, and a direct impact on opening new California Burrito outlets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in real estate or retail expansion.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Site scouting & identification: conduct market research and field visits to identify high-potential retail real estate.
• Landlord & broker negotiations: lead initial and ongoing negotiations with property owners, developers, and brokers to secure favorable terms.
• Feasibility & coordination: partner with Projects and Operations teams to assess site feasibility and requirements.
• Pipeline management: build and nurture a strong pipeline of commercial property contacts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an energetic, resourceful, and sharp Business Development Executive to join our real estate expansion team. In this role, you will be on the ground scouting premium location opportunities, negotiating commercial terms with property owners, and helping lay the footprint for California Burrito's next wave of growth. You'll work with high autonomy, learn the ins and outs of retail site acquisition, and directly impact the expansion of one of India's favorite brands.

• Landlord & Broker Negotiations: Lead initial and ongoing negotiations with property owners, developers, and brokers to secure optimal commercial terms.
• Feasibility & Coordination: Partner closely with internal Projects and Operations teams to assess site feasibility, layout viability, and technical requirements.
• Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and nurture a strong pipeline of commercial property contacts and regional real estate relationships.
