THE OPPORTUNITY / ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Maintenance with 10+ years of experience in the QSR/Restaurant industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of resta urant equipment, electrical systems, maintenance operations, and vendor management. The role involves managing maintenance activities across multiple stores and requires regular travel to different locations.

WHAT WILL YOU OWN?

• 10+ years of maintenance experience, with mandatory QSR/Restaurant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, and restaurant equipment.
• Manage maintenance operations across multiple QSR stores
• Manage and develop a maintenance team of up to 20 members and train staff on equipment handling.
• Handle preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to ensure smooth store operations.
• Manage vendors, contractors, service contracts, quotations, and escalations.
• Support new store openings and project handovers from contractors to Operations.
• Analyse recurring issues and take corrective actions to reduce breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with company protocols, escalation timelines, and maintenance standards.
• Maintain required documentation and develop the skills and capabilities of the maintenance team.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly across stores and locations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma / Graduate / ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related technical qualification.
• 10+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Mandatory QSR/Restaurant industry experience.
• Experience managing teams of up to 20 people.
• Willingness to travel regularly as required
