Job summary

Acquisory Consulting in Uttar Pradesh is seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage end-user devices, software, and security configurations. The role covers laptop provisioning, O365 license administration, and basic network troubleshooting for on-site staff.

The ideal candidate will handle L1/L2 support, incident resolution, and documentation, ensuring SLA adherence and secure handovers during employee exits.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting laptop/desktop hardware and related components.
• Managing Wi‑Fi, LAN, and bandwidth issues.
• Configuring routers, switches, access points, firewall, etc.
• Monitoring network performance and uptime.
• Implementing firewall rules and endpoint security.
• Maintaining IT asset inventory and licenses.
• Handling IT service requests via ticketing tools.
• Maintaining documentation of issues and standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, and bandwidth-related issues
• Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and access points, firewall etc.
• Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime for end users
• Implement and manage firewall rules as per organisational requirements.
• Ensure endpoint security via antivirus and security configurations
• Support basic security controls aligned with IT and compliance policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets (laptops, peripherals, network devices etc.)
• Track allocation, procurement, movement, and lifecycle of assets
• Manage software licenses, renewals, and compliance.
• Maintain a centralised IT asset register with: Allocation tracking, Serial numbers / asset IDs, Custodian details, Asset Purchase history & lifecycle
• Perform periodic physical verification of assets
• Ensure proper handover/recovery during employee exit
• Handle IT service requests and incidents via ticketing tools
• Ensure SLA adherence and high-quality user support
• Working exposure to Microsoft portal for security solutions, Office 365 license management & allocation
• Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard procedures
• Ensure endpoint protection (AV/EDR) across all systems
