Job summary

ProcDNA, a global consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Tech team. The role focuses on building Tableau/Power BI dashboards, translating business needs into visual, actionable insights, and optimizing dashboard performance.

You will design ETL pipelines, work with Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and SQL, and collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders in Life Science projects to deliver scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Tableau/Power BI development.
• Experience managing client stakeholders and junior team members.
• Background in Life Science clients is mandatory.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses like Redshift, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, etc., plus SQL, data modeling, and ETL pipeline design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau/Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create meaningful data visualizations.
• Optimize dashboard performance and implement best practices for data visualization.
• Understand data models in pharmaceutical domain (HCP, HCO, Patient, Territory, Product, Payer, Specialty Pharmacy).
• Design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines or underlying code to enhance data warehouse systems.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Conduct peer reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry trends.
